Haoxuan Xie
Welcome to my homepage!
I'm currently a PhD candidate at College of Computing and Data Science, Nanyang Technological University. Prior to my PhD study, I obtained my B.Eng. degree at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, where I published my first paper supervised by Prof. Yixiang Fang. I also interned at PingCAP and Tencent. My research interest spans:
- Graph storage, processing and algorithms
- Vector database and vector search algorithms
- LSM-tree optimization on key-value stores
- I'm also open-minded to various fields and collaborations
Apart from research, I'm quite interested in Competitive Programming. I have participated in lots of programming contests (e.g., ICPC) worldwide and achieved a candidate master rating at Codeforces. Many of my research ideas are also inspired from my experience in competitve programming.
I am graduating in 2027 and seeking Singapore-based opportunities in both industry and academia. Please feel free to reach out to me.
